Our work starts in Marrakech, at the edge of the High Atlas, but Morocco is much larger than one region. The High Atlas separates major geographic zones of the country and includes Jbel Toubkal, at 4,167 metres, the highest peak in North Africa. Beyond the mountains are Atlantic landscapes, historic cities, valleys, oases and the Sahara.
That diversity is why we do not describe every trip as the same kind of Morocco experience. A Toubkal trek, a medina journey through the imperial cities, a desert route around Merzouga and a coastal stay in Essaouira require different timing, pacing and preparation. We explain those differences clearly before you book.
Our Story
Real journeys across Morocco. One philosophy.
Morocco Unique Journeys began with a simple idea: that travelers deserve more than a package tour. They deserve someone who knows the mountains, the villages, the roads, and the communities — and who designs each journey around the traveler, not around a template.
Over the years, we have guided summit attempts on Toubkal, camel treks into the Sahara, family trips through the imperial cities, and quiet weeks on the Atlantic coast. Every journey has taught us something — about Morocco, about travel, and about what travelers actually need.
We are based in Marrakech, at the foot of the High Atlas. The mountains are our home and our specialty. But we know the whole country — from the Rif Mountains of the north to the dunes of the deep south.

What We Tell Travelers Honestly
The things other companies will not say
The drive to the Sahara is long — two full days of driving from Marrakech.
Mountain refuges are basic. Do not expect hot showers.
Summer in the desert is dangerously hot. We will tell you to go in spring or autumn.
The road through the Atlas is winding. If you get car sick, bring medication.
Toubkal at 4,167 m is a real mountain. Altitude sickness is a real risk.
Some villages have limited connectivity. This is part of the experience.
Not every journey is right for every traveler. We will tell you if something is not a good fit.

We are based in Marrakech, at the foot of the High Atlas. From there, we design journeys across the entire country — from the Rif Mountains in the north to the dunes of the deep south. We know the roads, the guides, the families, and the conditions in each region.
